TV productions to enrich Iranian small screen

Iranian television is gearing up for an eclectic lineup of series and diverse offerings.

1. ‘Honeymoon’ nears completion: Final filming stage in Mashhad

The romantic comedy series ‘Honeymoon’, directed by Manouchehr Hadi, is in its final stages of production.

With 90% of the filming completed, the shooting is expected to wrap up after the crew’s trip to Mashhad within a month.

Written by Mohammad Tanabandeh, ‘Honeymoon’ follows the humorous journey of a couple on the brink of marriage.

The series, set to be aired by IRIB Channel 3, features a star-studded cast list, including Yousef Teymouri, Amir Kazemi, Hossein Hemmati, Pedram Karimi, Akbar Abdi, Qodratollah Izadi, Maryam Momen and Elham Hamidi.

2. ‘Cry Alone’ filming nears completion: To be aired soon

The filming of the romantic historical series ‘Cry Alone’ is nearing its end.

Produced by Milad Haji-Parvaneh and directed by Ali Derakhshandeh, ‘Cry Alone’ tells the story of a woman who sacrifices her love, youth, and dreams to combat oppression and injustice.

In the second season, she dedicates her entire life and possessions to her cause.

As filming wraps up, post-production is being completed simultaneously.

The series, starring Afsaneh Kamali and Hadi Sheikhol-Eslami in the lead roles, will be aired soon.
